Dear Sangha Members
This Sunday, May 31, is Saka Dawa, the sacred full moon day and one of the holiest occasions for Buddhists around the world. Saka Dawa commemorates the four great deeds of Gautama Buddha:

  1. The Birth of Buddha
  2. Buddha’s Enlightenment
  3. The First Turning of the Dharma Wheel
  4. Buddha’s Parinirvana (passing into final nirvana)

This auspicious day is celebrated throughout the Buddhist world as Buddha Day, a time to accumulate merit through prayers, offerings, generosity, and spiritual practice.

We warmly invite all Sangha members, helpers, and supporters to join us in celebrating this sacred day at our Hamilton Centre.

We sincerely welcome everyone to gather together on this highly auspicious day to accumulate merit and receive blessings.
Although it’s a free event we request our members to help cover the cost by donating or sponsoring the event.
For those who don’t have Lungta, it can be purchased for $25 at the centre. Please provide your name and quantity of Lungta to Jerine or Palden. Thank you
