The Merits and Benefits of the Naga Vase Offering: 龙王宝瓶投放的功德利益

Because of the ignorance and self attachment of modern sentient beings, various construction projects, soil pollution, sewage, rivers, marine pollution, causes serious harm to the survival and life of the Nagas. 因现代众生我执无明深重，造业多端，各种建设工程、土壤污染、污水、河川、海洋污染、严重危害龙族的生存、生命。 Naga Sutra mentioned : [Any pain suffered by the Naga will be reflected in human sentient beings. The distress of the nagas, the hatred caused by it, will also cause wind and rain, and human nature abnormality.] 龙王经云：[龙族所受的任何痛苦，均会反应在人道众生身上，龙族的苦恼，引起的嗔恨心，亦会造成风雨不调，人性失常。] Nagas can be divided into three categories: the “white Nagas” of the good species, the “black nagas” of the evil species and the [flower nagas] of the good and evil species. Nagas mostly live in lakes, seas, rivers, springs, streams, etc. However, some of them also live in cliffs, caves and forests, which are closely related to our human beings. 龙族可分为善种的「白龙」和恶种的「黑龙」和善恶种的[花龙]三类。龙多居于湖、海、江、河、泉、溪等处，然而亦有部份住于山崖、岩洞、树林之间，与我们人道众生息息相关。

The venerable zhizhayeshi Duojie(Dunzhu Rinpoche II), compassionate sentient beings have more interests of the vast family of the Naga clan, and specially formulated the making method of the Naga King’s treasure vase and the Naga dharma Pill. If you worship the treasure vase and practice the Naga vase offering, you can repair the wounds of the naga clan caused by human destruction, impurity and increase their strength. The health of the naga king and the naga clan will drive away the world’s disasters, infectious diseases, natural and man-made disasters, smooth the wind and rain, and good luck will increase and also greatly improve the auspiciousness of worship. 对龙族有利的药材、香才、七珍八宝、天上路上海中及许多珍贵的圣地加持物, 为龙族所需，且被视为摩尼宝。Therefore, the provisions of the naga king’s treasure vase, the naga dharma pills, and the practice of the naga puja can jointly collect blessings and merits in which the Naga clan receives these blessings in turn they help to eliminate their anger, and cultivate peace. Which in turn helps us and all sentient beings. The theory of great wisdom contains: “The poverty of all sentient beings in this time of degeneration. If the naga king’s head is decorated with Ruyi jewels by sentient beings this will make them happy from the purity of the offerings. The naga king will help them with Ruyi’s jewels, and produce all the treasures as they need! It is common for a rain all kinds of treasures, clothes, food, soup, what ever people need, everything is sufficient, and it is always endless. 因此供養龍王寶瓶、龍甘露丸、修持龍供法，能聯集福德資糧，龍族受此利益，能令其消除瞋念，解怒氣為祥和，有助我等眾生。 大智度論所載：〝未法眾生福薄貧賤，而龍王頭飾如意寶珠，若眾生以清淨妙供令其歡喜，龍王將以如意寶珠濟其所願，其願出一切寶物隨人所需，盡皆備有！是時陰雲普遍，雨種種寶物，衣服、飲食、湯藥，人之所須，一切具足，至其命盡，常爾不絕。〞
