The offering of Nāga Treasure Vases (Lu Bum) is a profound and auspicious practice within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Treasure vases are specially prepared and blessed, and are offered into bodies of water as an offering to the Nāgas (Lu) and other beings dwelling within the water and surrounding environment.
