Dzamling Chisang (also known as Universal Prayer Day or World Incense Day), is an auspicious Tibetan Buddhist festival celebrated on the15th day of the fifth lunar month. It commemorates Guru Rinpoche’s taming of local spirits and the founding of Tibet’s Samye Monastery.
